FRED WESLEY

Mr Funk! Trombone star Fred Wesley Jr. is well known for his work at Hit making with James Brown in the 1960s and 70s,. He's made major musical contributions to George Clinton's Parliment/Funkadelic, Maceo Parker & Pee Wee Ellis.

Leader of 2 bands playing Afro Cuban Jazz and Afro Cuban Salsa with a powerful expression from the new generation of Cuban trumpet masters carrying the traditions in a contemporary way.

CARL WINTHER

The awarded piano players performance is breathtaking with a fluent ability to improvise, a true love for Latin and African rhythms, and inspired by all this, and the funky styles of Herbie Hancocks 70s music and avangardistic ideas.

DELASI

Ghana's Soulgod and hiphop crooner,  fuses 808 hiphop beats with a hypnotic traditional Ewe borborbor music samples.'Thought Journey', his upcoming album, engages in an extraordinary fusion of soul, Ewe music and hiphop.

Clamed to be "Kenyas Fela Kuti", his songs speaks of the fluid nature of modern African culture. With a deep understanding of his roots and the ongoing politics., he demonstrate the fusion of African identity.

Driscoll contributes with rapping and  beatboxing, while Kouyate, who's already a phenomenon in African music circles, blow minds and ears with his hypersonic electrified riffs on the Kora.

It was a straight yes from the two capacities, guitar player Bjarne Roupé (Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie) and Saxplayer Tomas Franck (Joe Henderson, John Scofield, , David Sanborn) to form part of Gonzalez' Afro Cuban Jazz group.
